Silk is a durable but delicate fabric. All our silks are of high quality but need responsible care for a lasting experience. Here’s our top suggestions:

Washing – For the best result, drycleaning is recommended. Washing by hand is possible when professionally handled, with cold water only. Don’t dry in direct sunlight.

Stains – If there’s any stains found on your fabric, please do not rub the fabric. This might cause your print to fade. We recommend professional drycleaning.

Ironing – Ironing is possible when ironed inside out on low heat. For extra protection, layer your silk with a cloth when ironing. Don’t iron if the silk is wet. Also don’t spray or wet silk when ironing.

Storing – Store silk in a clean, dry environment. You can choose to hang silk or store it in its original box. When storing, keep silks out of sunlight and away from moths.

Wearing – Don’t expose silks to rain. Please mind long exposure to sunlight, this will eventually cause the colours to fade.

Cleaning – To clean your silver and remove tarnish, combine baking soda and water and scrub delicately with a toothbrush or cloth. Don’t clean silver too often, as this may result in corrosion.  

Polishing – Polishing is recommended (after cleaning) with a polishing cloth.

Tarnish – To prevent tarnish, the easiest way is by wearing your silver often. The natural oils of your skin will keep your silver stay shiny. Do not store your silver in paper or cardboard. Don’t leave silver in direct sunlight. Avoid contact with rubber. Avoid long exposure to heat. Also keep silver away from damaging chemicals.

Storing – Keep silver in a cool, dry and dark place. Always store silver pieces separately.
